David J. Kozicki

David is a seasoned attorney with twenty years of experience in commercial real estate, including all aspects of acquisition, disposition, financing and development.  Throughout his career David has worked with numerous national corporations, REITs and developers.  David is versed in matters of commercial lease review and negotiation, general corporate law and estate planning and trusts.

David received his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1990 and his B.A. in Psychology from University of Illinois in 1987.  He is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois.

David and his wife, Lisa, enjoy spending time with their three Labradors at their home in Michigan.  There, they open their home to foster shelter dogs for local Humane Society organizations.  David is also an Advisory Board Member of The STAR Program at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.

Colleen Q. Morrison

Colleen's practice areas consist of commercial and residential real estate, property tax appeals and business law. Before joining K&M Law, Colleen was an associate attorney at a Chicago law firm focused on consumer bankruptcy and civil litigation. She previously contributed to the due diligence of a large financial institution's purchaser of a title agency and her current client matters include negotiating distributors' contracts, researching exploratory overseas business matters and navigating commercial real estate sales and acquisitions.

Colleen received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2008 and her B.A. in Communication and English from Loyola University Chicago in 2001. During her studies, Colleen was the recipient of the Legal Writing CALI Award and Dean's list honors, and studied abroad at Loyola's Rome and Beijing campuses.

Colleen was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in May of 2009. She resides in Oak Park, Illinois with her husband and their dog.
